It\u2019s not \u00a0ideology, it\u2019s about value and result.<\/span><br class=\"x_ContentPasted0\" aria-hidden=\"true\" \/><br class=\"x_ContentPasted0\" aria-hidden=\"true\" \/><span class=\"x_ContentPasted0\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-10151 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/ismportal.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/operating-model-v5-294x300.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"294\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ismportal.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/operating-model-v5-294x300.jpeg 294w, https:\/\/ismportal.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/operating-model-v5-768x782.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/ismportal.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/operating-model-v5.jpeg 800w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 294px) 100vw, 294px\" \/>It\u2019s an important part of the practice of an IT organization.<\/span><br class=\"x_ContentPasted0\" aria-hidden=\"true\" \/><span class=\"x_ContentPasted0\">Therefore it should be:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"x_ContentPasted0\"><strong>Result oriented<\/strong> \u2013 if it not leads to value it has no value<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"x_ContentPasted0\"><strong>Applicable<\/strong> &#8211; if professionals can\u2019t apply the model it won\u2019t work<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"x_ContentPasted0\"><strong>Explainable<\/strong> &#8211; if it\u2019s not understood there\u2019s no co-operation<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"x_ContentPasted0\"><strong>Manageable<\/strong> &#8211; support leadership with shared values and views<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"x_ContentPasted0\"><strong>Measurable<\/strong> &#8211; as well in result as in flow<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"x_ContentPasted0\"><strong>Flow<\/strong> &#8211; describing the order of all activities, not the content<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"x_ContentPasted0\"><strong>Holistic<\/strong> &#8211; embracing all activities of the service chain<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"x_ContentPasted0\">A proper process model really helps IT-organizations to realize customer value. That\u2019s why we designed this ISM-model.
